Example of Geometric Sequence in Math

Please determine the 5th term from 3, 6, 12, 24, 48, ...!

Answer :
a = 3
r = 6/3 = 2

U_n = ar^n-1
U₁₅ = 3 . 2^15-1
U₁₅ = 3 . 2¹⁴
U₁₅ = 3 . 16384
U₁₅ = 49152

So the 15th tribe is 49152
